Tournaments: scoring, ranking and rewards

A leaderboard position is not a measure of profit. Read the scoring formula first.

What to check first

Identify whether points come from turnover, multipliers or another event. Check eligible titles, any minimum qualifying stake and opt-in requirements.

How to read the conditions

Read the closing time, update delay and tie rule. A provisional rank does not guarantee a prize. Final results may require eligibility checks.

Before making a decision

Compare potential rewards with spending. Do not increase a limit to chase one place. Illustrative cards do not confirm that a real tournament is running.

Points, rank and financial results

Evaluate leaderboard rank separately from your financial result. First identify what generates points: turnover, a multiplier or another event. Check eligible titles, opt-in requirements and tie-breaking. A provisional position is not a final prize decision, especially when updates lag. Compare the closing time with the participant-review process. Do not raise spending to pass a nearby competitor. Even an awarded prize may fail to cover losses, and promotional rewards can have further usage conditions. A screenshot of provisional rank can support a display query but does not replace final results. Understand the scoring formula before participation rather than after a dispute.

Separate the offer deadlines

An offer can have a participation period, activation deadline, reward-use window and a separate completion deadline. They need not start from the same event. Identify the starting point and time zone for each clock. A late notification does not automatically extend it. Keep the rules and visible timer, and clarify discrepancies in writing. Avoid a financial decision driven solely by the final minutes of a countdown. Missing an offer does not create an obligation to deposit. Spending to obtain a reward can exceed its value even when every formal requirement is met. Compare deadlines to understand the offer, not to justify higher spending.

Check promotional eligibility separately

The main catalogue and the wagering-eligible list serve different purposes. Inclusion in the general lobby does not mean that every wager contributes in full to a promotion. Find eligible titles, contribution rates, maximum stakes and excluded features in the specific package rules. Check feature purchases separately where offered. Do not ignore an incompatibility warning to start quickly; clarify it before spending. Saved terms and the active promotion status help distinguish an error from a stated restriction. A provider name alone does not determine contribution either. Different titles from the same studio can be treated differently within one offer.

Deposits, promotional credit and available cash

The headline balance may combine funds governed by different conditions. Open the breakdown and record deposited cash, promotional credit and the amount available for a request separately. Find the spending order and package cancellation consequences. Winnings linked to a promotion can have a different status from ordinary cash. Do not infer this from the colour or position of a number. Compare the balance before an event, the transaction entry and the balance afterwards. This sequence makes a precise query possible without another deposit. Ask for a breakdown when the interface does not explain whether every displayed component is withdrawable.
